Today, Dom led off the show talking about Bernie’s ridiculously optimistic and radical plan to wipe away $1.6 trillion worth of student loan debt and Elizabeth Warren’s suggestion that we pay reparations to LGBT people. Also, former Pennsylvania congressman Joe Sestak announced his candidacy for President on Saturday and The Salt Lake Tribune backed Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s claim that the retention centers at the border are indeed “concentration camps.”

Then, Dom was shocked to find out that Trump may have a problem with a certain demographic: knitters and crocheters. Ravelry, a website dedicated to connecting knitters around the world, announced Sunday that it is banning all support of Trump and his administration from its platform. How will Trump make it through this crushing blow to his 2020 Presidential hopes?

And finally, Dom spoke with John Pence, Vice President Mike Pence’s nephew and Senior Advisor to the Trump 2020 campaign. John, with his uncle, is spearheading an effort to mobilize Latino supporters of President Trump. Support for Trump is the Latino community is much stronger than one would expect with the constant barrage of “Trump is a racist!” media coverage.
