New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo Speaks in Favor of Statue Removal

Dom Giordano continues the program by discussing the departure of associate producer Joe Sibilia, and gets him to admit that he likes the city of New York better than Philadelphia. This turns into a discussion about Governor Andrew Cuomo, who spoke out in favor of statue removals only a week after defending Columbus. Also, Cuomo in another interview, also tried directing blame for Coronavirus to everybody but himself, taking a page out of Hillary Clinton’s political playbook. And Dom discusses the women of the View’s views on the removal of statues of founding fathers.

Wallet Hub Dubs New Jersey the Least Patriotic State

Today, Dom led off the Dom Giordano program by discussing a new poll by Wallet Hub that deems New Jersey the least patriotic state in America. Dom tries getting to the root as to why this lack of patriotism exists in the state, and wonders whether or not the progressive idea of “patriotism” and deep criticism of the country is what’s led to the low support for the country in New Jersey. Then, Dom talks about Wildwood’s new “Dom Giordano Day” in which Dom spent the evening taking out the trash for his wife, Roe. Also, Dom hits upon a new call to ban the sale of fireworks in the city of Philadelphia.

Doo-Wop is Central to Wildwood's DNA

Wildwood Mayor Pete Byron rejoins the Dom Giordano program to close out Dom’s shore broadcast. Byron sits in on the show as the crew discusses who the greatest speakers of all time are, and the Mayor explains the whole “Doo Wop” aesthetic that’s now become so associated with the Wildwoods. Also, the Mayor discusses his time running the city during this time of pandemic, and explains what he hopes to see from the city of Wildwood and the rest of shore towns by the end of the summer.
