Dauphin County Commissioner Says the Numbers Don't Justify COVID-19 Procedures

Dom Giordano talks with Dauphin County Commissioner Jeff Haste about the ultimatum given to Governor Tom Wolf and the reason why it came into play at this point. Haste explains the culmination of frustration and the hope that Pennsylvania could move on. Haste also breaks down the numbers and explains how the procedures in place are overkill. Haste shares stories about business owners who are struggling financially and the serious mental health downturns caused from it. Haste offers his thoughts on Gov. Wolf and addresses concerns about Rachel Levine's background in medicine, or lack thereof.

Sen. Doug Mastriano Says Gov. Tom Wolf Doesn't Have the Power of a Dictator

Dom Giordano talks with Senator Doug Mastriano about Governor Tom Wolf and the insinuation that he is a "coward." Mastriano finds this ironic, considering Wolf's privileged upbringing and comfortable lifestyle. Mastriano calls the entire fiasco a "bad B-movie" and calls for Health Secretary Rachel Levine's resignation. Mastriano explains why the people of Pennsylvania are going to continue to rise up against Wolf and his administration, adding that Wolf does not have the power of a dictator or tyrant. Plus, Mastriano reacts to Wolf's defense of Levine, to which Mastriano claps back.

The War for Waivers Continues with Pool Companies

Dom Giordano talks with attorney Wally Zimolong about the lawsuit over the waivers, with a pool company as the principal plaintiff. One pool company was granted a waiver, while another nearly identical organization was denied a waiver. Dom questions why a company like Crayola is considered essential and Zimolong addresses what he calls "arbitrary" rules and standards. Plus, Zimolong praises Dom for waging the war against the waivers.

Nursing Facilities Must Inform Families of COVID-19 Outbreaks

Dom Giordano talks with CMS Administrator Seema Verma about the COVID-19 numbers in nursing homes and the reason why there is resistance to release them. Verma talks about the importance of making sure the nursing facility is prepared to take on a patient before they are sent there and explains who sets the guidelines for the facilities. Verma also explains how a nursing home is now required to tell family members if there is a COVID-19 outbreak, regardless if the resident they are related to is affected.
