Pelosi's SOTU Stunt Was Classless

Today, Dom Giordano led off the show by recapping last night's State of the Union address. To lead off the show, Joe Sibilia sings Frank Sinatra's "The Best Is Yet To Come" in honor of the final lines said in Trump's 2020 State of the Union. Also, Dom discusses Nancy Pelosi's petty stunt of tearing a copy of the printed speech as Trump wrapped up his speech. Also, Dom discusses particular incidents in the speech, including Trump's decision to recognize and award a victim of restrictive Democratic policies centered on school choice, and the general positive nature of the speech.

Abington Police Commissioner Patrick Molloy

Dom Giordano talks with Abington Police Commissioner Patrick Molloy about the support for the Abington Police Department following the remarks made at an Abington school board meeting. Molloy talks about the opportunity the police had to hear the concerns about the department and also talks about the conversation the department had with the school board member who made the negative comments about the police. Molloy comments on the generalization of treatment from the police and explains how the Abington police are trying to move beyond that. Plus, Molloy talks about how the Abington police will continue to focus on bringing people together and deescalate police encounters before they get out of hand.

Commentator Liz Peek Predicts Mike Bloomberg's Fate

Dom Giordano talks with commentator Liz Peek about the polling and approval rates on the economy. Peek explains how Americans know their paychecks are "getting fatter" and are happy with the trend. Peek also comments on the Democrats decrying Donald Trump and how it has backfired on them. Peek explains the importance of a clear message and how it would benefit the Democrats. Peek reflects on how union workers were pivotal to the 2016 election and explains why the Democrats have muddied the water on their key issue. Peek also weighs in on Mike Bloomberg's campaign and explains why she thinks he will be a threat to the other Democratic candidates.
