"Save Jersey" Founder Says COVID-19 Brings Out the Worst in Gov. Phil Murphy

Dom Giordano talks with "Save Jersey" founder Matt Rooney about the chance to provide socialized medicine and the patient scoring system. Rooney explains how the COVID-19 pandemic is bringing out the worst in politicians like New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and expresses hope that people start to take the constitution more seriously after this. Rooney questions why New Jersey is not calling on the legislature to provide a check on Murphy's power and questions why every business in New Jersey needs to be closed entirely throughout the pandemic.

Rowan University Professor Says You Don't Have To Wash Grocery Packaging

Dom Giordano talks with Rowan University's Claude Krummenacher about how to disinfect groceries and stay safe while shopping at the supermarket. Krummenacher calls out people who are leaving their groceries outside for three days to sanitize, explaining that it is a little over-the-top. Krummenacher also points out how leaving perishables outside is a bad idea. Krummenacher also explains why wiping down the packaging of the groceries is also extreme, while adding it certainly doesn't make things worse. Krummenacher points out that washing fruits and vegetables is not something that people should be doing just to prevent COVID-19, but all the time. Krummenacher says he is not opposed to people wearing masks as long as there are masks available for those who need them.

NJ Assemblyman Brian Bergen (R-25) on Gov. Murphy's Coronavirus Response

New Jersey Assemblyman Brian Bergen joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss an op-ed he penned for that calls out NJ Governor Phil Murphy's handling of small businesses in response to Coronavirus. Bergen wrote,

So far, the legislature has passed only paltry relief for small business owners, and the governor hasn’t even signed some of that. The lack of quick action to ensure people will be okay financially is what frustrates me the most. More needs to be done, but too many in government don’t know what to do.

Assemblyman Bergen further elaborates on both the current failings and things the state government can do to stimulate the economy.
