Is President Trump Wrong In Wanting To Meet With The Taliban At Camp David?

Today, Dom started of the show talking about President Trump’s potential upcoming meeting with Talbian in hopes to end the war in Afghanistan. Dom thinks the meeting is indeed necessary, but pontificates whether it’s smart to do it at Camp David. On Twitter and via phones, listeners weighed in on Trump’s strategy in addressing the war in the Middle East. Also, Dom discussed a clip from Don Lemon’s CNN show, in which he said that black voters should not prioritize economic equality over ‘the President’s racist behavior’.

Should It Be Acceptable To Fat Shame?

Then, Dom talked about Bill Maher, who may have gotten himself in some trouble last night on his HBO show, when he called out fat shaming as too politically correct. Maher said that talking about obesity in America should not be taboo, saying “in August, 53 Americans died from mass shootings. Do you know how many died from obesity? 40,000. Fat shaming doesn’t need to end; it needs to make a comeback.” Maher also called out the hypocrisy of liberals to propose free healthcare for all, while refusing to address the biggest killer in our country, being the rise and acceptance of obesity.

Ray Didinger On The Eagles Matchup Against The Redskins

Finally, Ray Didinger joined the show to kick-off his weekly Eagles segment, in which he and Dom discuss the prior day’s football game. This week, Dom and Ray honed in on the performance and return of Desean Jackson, and a fight during the pre-game tailgate involving Philadelphia 76er Mike Scott.
