Kellyanne Conway Says Graduations Should Take Place with Special Precautions

Dom Giordano talks with Kellyanne Conway about the benefits of reopening the beaches in New Jersey. Conway explains that people are not going to travel long distances because of the pandemic, so the beaches are an escape for many. Conway talks about the message of forgotten men and women and explains why that message was victorious at the ballot box in 2016. Conway talks about the need to find ways to bring America to a new normal, adding that there is not a "one-size-fits-all" resolution to the problem. Plus, Conway explains how school graduations can take place as long as people are thoughtful about keeping their distance.

Bill Cosby Spokesman Suggests Sentence Be Carried Out at Home

Dom Giordano talks to Bill Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt about the criteria for keeping a convicted sex offender in prison. While one sex offender is released amid the pandemic, Cosby remains in prison. Wyatt explains the health issues that Cosby faces as an elderly blind man in a prison rife with COVID-19 cases. Wyatt calls for Governor Tom Wolf to "do the humane thing" and allow Cosby to carry out his sentence under house arrest. Wyatt addresses how the court of public opinion would react to Cosby's release, adding that the public opinion metric was thrown out the window when the pandemic began. Wyatt maintains that Cosby should have his case heard by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and adds that not only Cosby should be released, but all elderly inmates should as well.

A Shore Update with Wildwood Mayor Pete Byron

Pete Byron, Mayor of Wildwood, NJ, rejoins the Dom Giordano program to provide an update on Jersey Shore beaches in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic. Dom and the Mayor discuss Governor Phil Murphy’s advisement for reopening of beaches and shore towns in New Jersey. Mayor Pete notes that while Murphy’s comments about safe social distancing may ring true for many shore towns, Wildwood is a special case with ample room on their beaches, but one issue that the city is focusing on is safety on their boardwalks. Also, Mayor Byron gives his predictions as to how the summer will go as more and more towns and businesses reopen.
