Co-Owners of the Atillis Gym, Ian Smith and Frank Trumbetti, in Bellmwar, NJ joined The Rich Zeoli Show discussing their decision, after waiting weeks on a ruling from the courts, to re-open their gym in defeiance of Governor Murphy.

"We gave the legal system  a chance to work for us and to do the right thing. We've just gotten pushed around. We've been pushed out of Federal Court, we've been pushed out of State Court. We've been given every excuse in the book," Smith expalined to Zeoli.

Smith continued, "We've taken the doors off our hinges and we are prepared to stay open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until the State either backs down or they take us out of here by arresting us."

Trumbetti expalined to Zeoli, they have been taking every precaution for the safety of their patrons to the gym. Keeping the areas as safe as possible.

"Every person that has walked through this door, we actually have time stamped, we've taken their temperatures. We've had thousands of people walk through this door and we have zero cases of COVID. Actually, Governor Murphy can't say that about the houses he's responsible for. The incredible number of people he's responsible for, the deaths in these long-term care facilities it's insane that he's allowed to do these things."

Smith is proud to know they're doing the right thing by the amount of vocal support they've been receiving and the attendees to the gym.

"The people who come and who come with so much passion are the reason we know we are doing the right thing. When we open our doors and had the gym outside [with] over 250 people a day showing up and just thanking us for giving them the ability to come to use the equipment and work out. It is that important to people."
