PHILADELPHIA (1210 WPHT)- Spring Training may feel like a theme park to the tourists who come to see Adam Morgan play, but it was a different theme park that Morgan had his eye on.

“I’m more of a Harry Potter guy,” Morgan exclaimed, in an interview with The Rich Zeoli Show.  “We actually spent out off-day at Hogwarts in Universal, and I’m telling you, I was the biggest kid there.”

Morgan, who is in Clearwater for Spring Training, said he is there with his wife, dog, and 7-month-old daughter.

When asked about what age a child should visit Walt Disney World or Universal Studios, Morgan was blunt.

“It was more for me.”

Morgan said he was particularly enchanted by one magical artifact at Universal’s Hogwarts attraction.

“You could buy a wand, and you could go up to windows and go up to certain things, and move a wand, and the book would levitate, or lights would turn on, or you could see a face,” explained Morgan. “It took a lot of strength for me not to buy a wand.”

“If I could do sorcery, I would definitely use it on me,” quipped Morgan.

“You’ve got to have a balance. You’ll go crazy,” said Morgan, defending his love of Harry Potter. “I love baseball…but you’ve got to have a balance.”
