On this morning's show, Rich commented on Beto O'Rourke's idea for a mandatory gun buyback program and explained why it is evident that O'Rourke is an "extremist" on the gun rights issues.

"I'm not the one being the extremist on this issue here. I'm just trying to protect the constitution. I'm trying to protect the Second Amendment. But Beto [O'Rourke] is so far out on the issue, Chris Coons had to stand up and speak out about it. Pete Buttigieg had to stand up and speak out about it. What does that tell you right there about Beto and how far left and how extremist he is on this?

"If all these gun owners are coming up to you, Beto, and saying, 'Hey, I'll gladly give it up,' then why do you need to come out and say, 'No, this is mandatory. Not voluntary, mandatory.' The
Commerce Clause, they abuse that like so many clauses in the Constitution."
