It was a busy day today on the Dom Giordano Program.

Dom started the show today talking about the ‘tale of two cities,’ a phrase he used this morning on Fox and Friends to describe the attitude in Philadelphia towards police officers. Yesterday into early this morning, a gunman in the Nicetown-Tioga section of Philadelphia barricaded himself inside a rowhouse with hostages and fired at officers, wounding six. As the incident was unfolding, Democratic politicians from the city level to the federal level were posturing to make this another incident to politicize in the fight for stricter gun laws.  Dom spent most of the show breaking down this incident, and asked listeners what we should do to honor the 6 injured police officers.

Philadelphia FOP President John McNesby joined Dom to tell listeners what the Philadelphia police need in the fallout of the incident: a new DA. McNesby has been against District Attorney Larry Krasner’s relaxed dealings with criminals, often times refusing to prosecute people that police bring in. Last night’s gunman had an extensive criminal history, including drug, gun and robbery charges. Yesterday, Krasner said in a press conference that he thinks it’s fair to say that the criminal justice system failed to stop this incident. McNesby was keen to lay the blame at Krasner’s feet.

Fox News Host and Philadelphia native Jesse Waters joined the show to break down last night’s shooting, calling into question the immediate nature of the Democratic anti-gun response. Not after, but during the standoff Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, and leftist media pundits were already using the incident to try and push the gun control narrative forward. Also, Watters tells Dom about his upcoming projects.

And regular guest and good friend Andrew C. McCarthy joined Dom to talk about his new book, Ball of Collusion: The Plot to Rig an Election and Destroy a Presidency. Just prior to coming on air with Dom, President Trump sent out a tweet calling for his followers to go out and buy the new book. Andy expresses his gratitude to the President for doing this, and takes Dom deep inside the book to explain the plot to destroy Trump’s presidency.
