Philadelphia (1210 WPHT) -   Host Jerry Springer says "in the end, liberals always win." Springer appeared on the Chris Stigall Show on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT and says what he means by that is not necessarily they win every election, but "that every ten years, America is more liberal than it was ten years before. Every generation is more liberal than their parents."

Springer is very politically active, but keeps his politics separate from his work hosting the "Jerry Springer Show".

"I never wanted to make a living at politics. Because that keeps you pure. If getting elected was how I fed my family, then all of a sudden I would become intellectually dishonest, I would start saying things for the pressure of getting elected, even if I didn't really think that was right. That's what happens with our politics today."

Springer tells Stigall that "politics always follows the culture and the question is, how quickly can it catch up."

The "Jerry Springer Show", in it's 28th season, can be watched weekdays on the CW Philly.
