Supposedly, If You Support Trump, You’re Now A Cult Member

Today, Dom Giordano led off his Program by talking about a new theme in the mainstream media: Trump supporters are in a cult. What? Yes, that’s right. Brian Stelter was joined in studio by guest Steven Hassan, who as a former cult member himself, draws comparisons in a new book between Trump supporters and cult members. Also, Dom talks about his experience when seeing Tom Hanks’ new Mr. Rogers biopic, and a new study that shows the weight partisanship holds on the length of one’s Thanksgiving trip. And Dom discusses the perils centering on Pennsylvania’s contemplation to enforce e-verify for all construction jobs, which would greatly reduce illegal workers in the commonwealth.

Jeff Edelstein on NJ’s Fight Against The ‘Gig Economy’

Jeff Edelstein, columnist for The Trentonian, joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a recent column in which he took a very strong stance against a new New Jersey bill, S4204. According to Edelstein, S4204 would jeopardize the livelihood for a mass of New Jerseyians by creating new rules on contractual work. Edelstein explains his stance and points out to Dom what is so crucial about the new bill.

Ray Didinger on the Eagles | Week 12

Philadelphia broadcasting and sports-writing legend Ray Didinger joins the Dom Giordano Program for his weekly check-in after the Eagles lost to the surging Seahawks Sunday afternoon. Ray and Dom discuss Brandon Brooks’ panic attack which kept him off the field on Sunday, the success of Greg Ward who, after being a longtime practice squad player, got his first snaps in an NFL game, and the playcalling of coach Doug Pederson and whether or not his simplistic play design is the cause or a reflection of a floundering starting quarterback.
