Camden County Freeholder Jon Young on Plastic Ban

Camden County Freeholder Jon Young joins the Dom Giordano Program to explain the reasoning behind Camden County’s decision to plan single-use plastics like straws, utensils, and water bottles from county buildings and events. Freeholder Young breaks down exactly what it is that’d being banned, and the economic impact it’d have on the county, which Young describes as ‘minute’. Young describes the reason behind the ban as an obvious solution to plastics which take incredibly long to break down, and says the county and others should look into more biologically friendly replacements such as hemp. The Freeholder also elaborates on where the ban will take place.

FOP Lodge 5 President John McNesby

A shooting occurred this past Saturday, in which an 11-month-old baby was critically injured after being shot in the Hunting Park neighborhood. Soon after the shooting, FOP Lodge 5 announced that they’d be offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect wanting for perpetuating such a horrid act. Local FOP President John McNesby joins Dom to explain the reward and why solving this case is so important to the FOP. Also, McNesby comments on the ongoing media circus surrounding the murder of Sean Schellenger.
