Mike Roman On Trump Campaign Lawsuit Filed Against Philadelphia

Mike Roman of rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss a new lawsuit filed against the City of Philadelphia. The lawsuit, filed earlier this week in a state court in Philadelphia, hopes to address the question of what rights campaign representatives have to monitor polling places and voting offices to ensure election security. Roman explains the reasoning behind the lawsuit and tells where he hopes the fight for election integrity goes from here. 

Kerry Benninghoff On House's Select Committee To Oversee 2020 Election

Pennsylvania Representative and House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to update the fight against mail-in voting and ballot boxes in the state of Pennsylvania. Benninghoff explains that he and other state Republicans strive for transparency in the election. Pennsylvania Republicans have put together a bill, H.R. 1032, which creates the House Select Committee on Election Integrity to provide oversight of the 2020 election to inform possible legislation before and after the Nov. 3, 2020, General Election. The Select Committee, which has subpoena power, is an exercise of the General Assembly’s constitutional prerogative to determine the time, place and manner of elections, and create committees to help it carry out its legislative functions.
