When Is Warren Going To Tell The Truth About Medicare-For-All?

Today, Dom led off the show by talking about Mayor Kenney’s endorsement of presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren and what exactly this means. Dom is curious as to why Kenney chose Warren over Biden or Bernie, explaining that he endorsed Warren because she makes it possible for one to still claim they’re not a ‘socialist’ because she refuses to explain the downfalls of Medicare-for-all. Also, PA Representative Kevin Boyle sent out a tweet this morning that was vaguely racist, in which he wrote, “VOTER SUPPRESSION ALERT: the GOP in the PA House State Government Committee approved eliminating the straight party button. Voters of color disproportionately utilize this option. GOP also included multiple unnecessary citizenship questions for absentee ballot applications.” Dom explains why he feels this Tweet was racist, but admits that nothing will ever be done or said about it because he’s a democrat.

New Jersey Sued For Requiring Credit Reports In 11 Languages

The state of New Jersey is being sued over a law that requires credit bureaus to make credit reports available in 11 different languages. Dom takes the side of the credit bureaus and argues against their new law.

Campaign Spending On Social Media

So far, 2020 presidential candidates have spent at least $61 million on Facebook ads alone in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan and Wisconsin. Dom breaks down exactly what this means and ponders why social media advertising has far eclipsed other forms of advertising, including television.
