Protect Our Police was founded after a group of retired officers in Philadelphia saw the massive donation made to District Attorney Larry Krasner and the impact it had on the most recent District Attorney election. Since its creation in June, Protect Our Police has raised over $750,000 from over 3,000 donors in 50 states. The PAC has already received 30 applications from local and state officials looking for the support of the newly formed PAC.

Senator Scott Martin rejoins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the need to get children back to playing youth sports, after Governor Wolf offhandedly remarked that there will be no sports for kids until next year. Martin tries to decipher Gov. Wolf’s messaging regarding fall sports, which he believes to be an effort to convince those who actually make the decision to make a decision that he approves. Martin explains again why sports are so important to the growth of children, and predicts what will happen come fall.
