The Impeachment Process As It Unfolds

Throughout today’s show, Dom discussed what was happening today on Capitol Hill on this monumental day. A divided House voted this morning 232-196 to set ground rules for the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, putting lawmakers on record over the contentious process of impeachment. Republicans unanimously voted ‘nay’ on the resolution, but two Democrats diverted against their party and also voted ‘nay’, including local congressman Jeff Van Drew. Keep in mind, the news was developing while Dom was on air, so in this podcast the story develops throughout the course of the show. Also, Dom discusses a CNN story in which a mother went viral after warning mothers of teenage white sons to keep an eye out for white supremacy propaganda through coded language. Dom also talks about a lawsuit by the Quakertown school district against JUUL after a student passed out in a bathroom after vaping an illicit THC cartridge.

Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta Wants To Set the Record Straight on Communism v.s. Socialism

Dom Giordano talks with Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta about the resolution for victims of communism. Kenyatta explains why this is a political move to frame his fellow Democrats in the House as communists and tries to prevent confusion between socialism and communism. Kenyatta suggests Donald Trump is an "autocratic leader" and explains why he views the President this way. Plus, Kenyatta calls out the House for not paying attention to other issues such as raising the minimum wage and details how he has worked across the aisle on numerous issues throughout the years.
