Today, Dom started off the show talking about Walmart’s decision to end all handgun ammunition sales. Also, the store has asked all customers not to carry guns into stores. With these new initiatives, Walmart is also now pressuring Congress to enact stricter gun control laws. In a memo to employees, Walmart CEO Doug McMillan wrote, ‘it’s clear to us that the status quo is unacceptable.’ Dom asked listeners both via phone and on Twitter whether or not they will still shop at Walmart following their caving on gun and ammo sales. Also, in honor of Dan’s late dog Bailey, Dom asked listeners which celebrity animal is their favorite.

Colonel Tom Manion joins Dom Giordano to promote Travis Manion Foundation's upcoming 9/11 Hero Run in Cooper River Park on Sunday, September 8th. The 9/11 Heroes Run 5k +1M fun run/walk welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all levels and of all ages.
