RADIO.COM’s I’m Listening broadcast aims to open up the conversation about mental health. The strength to come forward and seek help during a crises lies within everyone; singers, actors, artists and athletes alike.

Philadelphia Eagles’ guard, and Super Bowl champion, Brandon Brooks knows the difficulty in coming forward. “Mental illness is something millions of Americans go through,” he told RADIO.COM. “I know it may seem sometimes like you’re the only one, you’re in a lonely spot, but you are not the only one suffering.”

Brooks encourages listeners to seek professional help early and benefit from another point of view. “There are employees trained to get answers, and give you that ladder to get out of that hole.”

Many people feel that first step is shameful, and allow pride to block best interests. Brandon assures fans there’s nothing to worry about. “Seek help. Don’t be embarrassed to go. There’s nothing wrong with it.”

I’m Listening is a two hour special broadcast, September 23, highlighting shared mental health experiences while also acting as a resource for those simply looking to connect, heal, and share. Throughout the show, listeners can call in for advice or a moment to share a story. The I’m Listening broadcast is a safe space.

Leading up to the broadcast, we're sharing moments from past I'm Listening shows here and at ImListening.org, as well as highlights from this year's lineup, including Luke Combs, Katy Perry, Cage The Elephant, and more opening up about mental health.
