PA State Sen. Doug Mastriano on Wolf's Waiver System

The Dom Giordano Program
Wednesday, April 1st
Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano (R-33) joins the Dom Giordano Program to discuss Governor Wolf's handling of the Coronavirus pandemic, particularly the state waiver process to approve which small businesses should be considered 'essential' and allowed to operate. Mastriano, a vocal critic of Governor Wolf, explained why he believes Wolf to be the least transparent Governor in Pennsylvania history, after news came out that both his business and other politician businesses were granted waivers, although their competitors weren't. The growing outrage has led the Senator to draft a bill entitled the “Pennsylvania Healthy Citizens and Healthy Businesses” which calls for businesses that have been forced to close during the COVID-19 pandemic to resume operations if strict guidelines outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration are practiced.(Photo by Mark Makela/Getty Images)
