Robert Cahaly Gives A Polling Update

The Dom Giordano Program
Friday, October 16th
Robert Cahaly, chief pollster at the Trafalgar Group, rejoins the Dom Giordano Program for a polling update with 18 days to go until the Presidential Election. First, Cahaly explains how his polling process differs from other polling places, explaining that he tries to strive for an environment of anonymity, using digital technology and text messaging to gather results. Cahaly explains that this is because when there’s a lack of anonymity, people may alter their results depending on who they’re speaking with, in an effort to be perceived as virtuous. Then, Cahaly takes Dom through battleground states, focusing heavily on Michigan which Cahaly believes favors Trump. That being said, Cahaly notes that Pennsylvania will indeed be the toughest state for the President to win.
