The Story of Jaelene Hinkle, and The Racist Air Conditioner

The Dom Giordano Program
Thursday, July 11th
Dom tells the story of a national women’s soccer player that isn’t getting much attention. In 2017, US Soccer revealed jerseys with rainbow numbers to support LGBTQ pride. Jaelene Hinkle, one of the best defenders in the country, refused to wear the jersey due to her Christian belief, which forced her away from playing for the national team. Also, after a New York Times story deemed air conditioning sexist, Dom rants about how great of an invention air conditioning was in the first place, and asks listeners what their most underrated inventions are.
